I love a good Starbucks drink, but my wallet isn’t very fond of it. But, when the craving sets in, it’s hard to walk away. That’s why I love this delicious Starbucks copycat frappuccino!
Made with only 3 ingredients, this chilled coffee drink tastes just like the real thing! The best part is that you don’t even have to leave the house to get one! Whip up this cool energizing drink in just a few minutes.
What is a Frappuccino?
A frappuccino is a cold, flavored coffee drink that is usually topped with whip cream and sometimes chocolate.
Frappuccino is actually a Starbucks trademark. It’s a combination of frappe and cappuccino. The drink was originally developed and trademarked in Massachusetts by The Coffee Connection. The coffee shop was bought by Starbucks who made a few changes and brought the frappuccino to the world!
Starbucks Frappuccino Ingredients
You only need 3 ingredients for this recipe! Here’s what you need:
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup coffee or espresso, chilled
- 1 pint coffee or vanilla ice cream
Whole milk: Whole milk works the best because it makes your frappuccino thicker. You could use half and half as well.
Coffee or espresso: Make your coffee as you normally would, and then chill it for your frappuccino.
Coffee or vanilla ice cream: This gives your frappuccino a deliciously creamy flavor and texture. You can use your favorite vanilla ice cream or give your frappuccino a little extra caffeine with some coffee ice cream.
