<p>Looking for a tasty yet easy dinner?&nbsp; Sometimes a good old sandwich just sounds good, but maybe you don’t feel like making a trip to Subway, Jimmy John’s, or one of the other slew of sandwich shops.&nbsp; If that’s the case, this recipe is for you! These Homemade Hoagie Rolls are fresh and delicious.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-2.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="833" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-833x1024.jpg" alt="Homemade Hoagie Rolls" class="wp-image-26616" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-833x1024.jpg 833w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-244x300.jpg 244w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-768x945.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-1249x1536.jpg 1249w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-150x185.jpg 150w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-2.jpg 1665w" sizes="(max-width: 833px) 100vw, 833px" /></a></figure></div>

<p>This recipe is awesome because you’re making your own bread.&nbsp; How cool is that?&nbsp; I always feel so accomplished when I can make something instead of buying it from the store.&nbsp; Once you’ve got your bread made, you can fill it with literally anything you want!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What are Homemade Hoagie Rolls?</h2>

<p>Hoagie rolls are like subs, but the bread is more of a crusty bread.&nbsp; Also, with a hoagie roll, the bread is usually not cut all the way into two pieces.&nbsp; The bread is cut enough to put the meat and toppings inside but not cut all the way.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Italian Homemade Hoagie Roll Ingredients</h2>

<p>Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make these rolls:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li><strong>Bread flour: </strong>Make sure you get bread flour and not all-purpose flour, as bread flour is specifically for making bread and will give you the correct consistency.&nbsp; This can be found in the aisle with other types of flour.</li><li><strong>Salt: </strong>Just regular salt will work just fine for this recipe.</li><li><strong>Warm water: </strong>Make sure that the water is warm so it will not affect the other ingredients improperly.</li><li><strong>Dry yeast: </strong>These packets can be found in the baking aisle near other dry ingredients.&nbsp; You can use active or instant, it will not affect the recipe.</li><li><strong>Vegetable oil: </strong>This oil can be found in the baking aisle, and for this recipe it is better to use vegetable oil than canola oil.</li><li><strong>Eggs: </strong>You can use store-bought eggs or farm fresh eggs.&nbsp; Just make sure if it is store-bought that you let it sit out for a little while to warm up to room temperature so the consistency is right.</li><li><strong>Granulated sugar: </strong>This is just your regular sugar.</li></ul>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-2.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-683x1024.jpg" alt="Hoagie rolls ingredients" class="wp-image-26618" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-200x300.jpg 200w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-2-150x225.jpg 150w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-2.jpg 1365w" sizes="(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></a></figure></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to make Homemade Hoagie Rolls</h2>

<p>Here are the steps to make this delicious bread:</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 1: Mix the Dry Ingredients</h3>

<p>In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine flour, salt and yeast.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-3.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-683x1024.jpg" alt="Dry Ingredients" class="wp-image-26619" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-200x300.jpg 200w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-150x225.jpg 150w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-3.jpg 1365w" sizes="(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></a></figure></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 2: Whisk Together the Remaining Ingredients</h3>

<p>In a separate large bowl, whisk together water, oil, egg and sugar until the sugar dissolves.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 3: Combine Dry an Wet Ingredients</h3>

<p>Using a dough hook with mixer set to low speed, slowly add the liquid mixture into the dry mixture, mixing until thoroughly combined and dough is starting to form. Increase speed to medium until dough becomes smooth. You can add a bit more flour if needed but be careful not to add too much.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-4.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-4-683x1024.jpg" alt="wet and dry ingredients" class="wp-image-26620" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-4-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-4-200x300.jpg 200w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-4-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-4-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-4-150x225.jpg 150w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-4.jpg 1365w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></a></figure></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 4: Knead the Dough</h3>

<p>Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and knead by hand until dough becomes a smooth ball. Add more flour as needed to decrease stickiness but not make too dry.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-5.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-5-683x1024.jpg" alt="knead the dough" class="wp-image-26621" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-5-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-5-200x300.jpg 200w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-5-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-5-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-5-150x225.jpg 150w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-5.jpg 1365w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></a></figure></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 5: Let the Dough Rise</h3>

<p>Place dough into a large greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover bowl with plastic wrap or a clean towel. Allow to rise in a warm place until doubled in size (approx. 30-45 min.)</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-6.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-6-683x1024.jpg" alt="let rise" class="wp-image-26622" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-6-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-6-200x300.jpg 200w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-6-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-6-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-6-150x225.jpg 150w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-6.jpg 1365w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></a></figure></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 6: Cut into Individual Rolls</h3>

<p>Transfer dough to a clean, lightly floured surface and divide into eight equal pieces. Roll and form each piece into an approx. 8-inch roll shape.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-7.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-7-683x1024.jpg" alt="cut into rolls" class="wp-image-26623" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-7-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-7-200x300.jpg 200w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-7-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-7-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-7-150x225.jpg 150w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-7.jpg 1365w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></a></figure></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 7: Let the Rolls Rise</h3>

<p>Spray two baking sheets with a non-stick cooking spray. Place rolls on sheets, approx 3-inches apart. Cover with greased plastic wrap and allow to rise in a warm area until doubled (approx. 40-minutes.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-1.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="682" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-682x1024.jpg" alt="Hoagie rolls" class="wp-image-26624" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-682x1024.jpg 682w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-200x300.jpg 200w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-768x1154.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-1022x1536.jpg 1022w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-150x225.jpg 150w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/How-to-make-homemade-hoagie-rolls-1.jpg 1363w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 682px) 100vw, 682px" /></a></figure></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 8: Preheat the Oven</h3>

<p>Preheat oven to 350°.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 9: Make a Cut in the Rolls</h3>

<p>After dough has risen, cut a slash down the center of each with a very sharp knife or a razor blade.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 10: Bake the Rolls</h3>

<p>Bake in preheated oven for approximately 30 min. Should be lightly browned. Cool on baking rack before cutting.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step 11: Store the Rolls</h3>

<p>Store in an airtight container.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-3.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="683" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-683x1024.jpg" alt="Fresh rolls" class="wp-image-26617" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-683x1024.jpg 683w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-200x300.jpg 200w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-768x1152.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-3-150x225.jpg 150w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-3.jpg 1365w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></a></figure></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Can I Put on These Hoagie Rolls?</h2>

<p>As I stated before, you can put anything on these!&nbsp; Whatever you like on a sandwich really.&nbsp; My personal favorite is Italian beef (you can find my recipe for it <a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/best-italian-beef-recipe/" data-wpel-link="internal">here</a>).&nbsp; The possibilities are endless!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Kind of Flour Do I need?</h2>

<p>You may be standing in the baking aisle, looking at all the different types of flour, wondering which kind should I get?&nbsp; For this recipe, bread flour is what you need.&nbsp; (Because we’re making bread, right?)</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Tools Do I Need to Make These Rolls?</h2>

<p>This recipe uses very few tools.&nbsp; First, you will need a stand mixer to mix the ingredients and knead the dough.&nbsp; Next, you will need a rolling pin to roll the dough.&nbsp; Last, you will need a baking sheet to bake the bread on.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-1.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="757" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-757x1024.jpg" alt="Hoagie Rolls" class="wp-image-26615" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-757x1024.jpg 757w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-222x300.jpg 222w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-768x1039.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-1136x1536.jpg 1136w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-150x203.jpg 150w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-1-735x994.jpg 735w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Homemade-hoagie-rolls-1.jpg 1514w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 757px) 100vw, 757px" /></a></figure></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Other Bread Recipes to Try</h3>

<p>If you loved this recipe, here are some other awesome bread recipes to try:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/homemade-white-bread/" data-wpel-link="internal">Homemade White Bread</a></li><li><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/ryons-beer-bread/" data-wpel-link="internal">Easy Beer Bread</a></li><li><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/rosemary-sea-salt-french-bread/" data-wpel-link="internal">Rosemary and Sea Salt French Bread</a></li><li><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/homemade-naan/" data-wpel-link="internal">Homemade Naan</a></li><li><strong><a href="https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/homemade-artisan-bread/" data-wpel-link="external" target="_blank" rel="nofollow external noopener">Homemade Artisan Bread</a></strong></li></ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to Store Leftovers</h2>

<p>One of the best things about this recipe (besides how yummy this bread is) is that it can be made ahead of time.&nbsp; If you are going to be using the rolls in the next couple days, you can store them in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3-5 days.&nbsp; If it is going to be longer than that, they should be put in the freezer.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Can I Freeze Homemade Hoagie Rolls?</h3>

<p>Yes you can!&nbsp; You can freeze individual rolls and reheat for a few minutes in the oven when you are ready to eat them.</p>

<p>Ever since I made the <a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/homemade-french-bread/" data-wpel-link="internal">homemade French bread</a> I have been craving more.&nbsp; I loved being able to make my own bread.&nbsp; And it was pretty tasty too.&nbsp; So for about a week I have been dreaming of making more.&nbsp; Then I had this idea to add fresh rosemary.. and sea salt!&nbsp; And I did, and everything is right in the world.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Rosemary-and-Sea-Salt-French-Bread.-So-easy-and-SO-good1.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="600" height="800" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Rosemary-and-Sea-Salt-French-Bread.-So-easy-and-SO-good1.jpg" alt="Rosemary and Sea Salt French Bread. So easy and SO good!" class="wp-image-7945" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Rosemary-and-Sea-Salt-French-Bread.-So-easy-and-SO-good1.jpg 600w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Rosemary-and-Sea-Salt-French-Bread.-So-easy-and-SO-good1-225x300.jpg 225w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></figure></div>

<p>I made this bread the same way I made the <a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/homemade-french-bread/" data-wpel-link="internal">homemade French bread</a>, except I didn&#8217;t use my mixer this time.&nbsp; [Say whaa?]&nbsp; Yup.&nbsp; This is truly a handmade bread.&nbsp; I mixed it, punched it, rolled it and shaped it all by hand.&nbsp; [Maybe that&#8217;s why it was extra tasty.]&nbsp; I used:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>2 packages active dry year [I used <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0039VIH0W/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B0039VIH0W&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=thgrli09-20" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow external" data-wpel-link="external">Fleischmann</a>&#8216;s]</li><li>2 1/2 cups warm water</li><li>1 tbs salt</li><li>1 tbs butter</li><li>7 cups flour</li><li>2 sprigs of fresh Rosemary</li><li>1 tbs sea salt</li></ul>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/rosemary-and-sea-salt-french-bread.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="600" height="450" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/rosemary-and-sea-salt-french-bread.jpg" alt="rosemary and sea salt french bread" class="wp-image-7938" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/rosemary-and-sea-salt-french-bread.jpg 600w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/rosemary-and-sea-salt-french-bread-300x225.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></figure></div>

<p>This recipes makes two loaves of bread; which can be a good and a bad thing.&nbsp; Its good if you have a big family or you need to send some off with a friend.&nbsp; Its bad because if you don&#8217;t, you get to eat it all by yourself.&nbsp; Which might not be the end of the world.&nbsp; I was lucky and sent one loaf to church and kept the second one for Sunday dinner with my family.&nbsp; [We always have a big Italian Sunday dinner at my parents house.&nbsp; My mom cooks and I clean.&nbsp; Its tradition.]&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter"><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/homemade-rosemary-and-sea-salt-french-bread.jpg" data-wpel-link="internal"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="600" height="450" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/homemade-rosemary-and-sea-salt-french-bread.jpg" alt="homemade rosemary and sea salt french bread" class="wp-image-7935" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/homemade-rosemary-and-sea-salt-french-bread.jpg 600w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/homemade-rosemary-and-sea-salt-french-bread-300x225.jpg 300w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/homemade-rosemary-and-sea-salt-french-bread-320x240.jpg 320w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/homemade-rosemary-and-sea-salt-french-bread-480x360.jpg 480w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></figure></div>

<p>This bread actually reminded me of the appetizer bread they serve at Macaroni Grill.&nbsp; It had the same smell and flavor as their bread.&nbsp; [And yes, I smell my bread.&nbsp; Who doesn&#8217;t?]&nbsp; I should have dipped in it some olive oil and spices but we ate ours with lasagna and salad instead.&nbsp; [I&#8217;m gunna share my momma&#8217;s lasagna soon.&nbsp; Its out of this world yall!]&nbsp; But for now I&#8217;ll leave you with this easy rosemary and sea salt french bread recipe and share the lasagna recipe soon.&nbsp;</p>
