I’m sure by now you have seen the social media famous whipped coffee. It’s instant coffee, sugar and hot water that is whipped for a few minutes to make gloriously fluffy coffee that goes over milk. This chocolate raspberry whipped coffee is similar to the famous TikTok version but it’s made with heavy cream and fresh raspberries. It’s a fun treat that every coffee drinker will love. Let me show you how to make this DIY coffee drink today!
Give me all the whipped coffee! As soon as I saw whipped coffee, I knew I had to try it. I made my own whipped (or fluffy) coffee and was obsessed. It’s easy to make and is a fun twist in classic iced or cold brew coffee.
Since then I’ve made a vanilla flavored whipped coffee and a mocha whipped coffee and they are just as awesome. It’s easy to make a flavored version of the now classic whipped coffee. Well, I’ve kicked it up a notch and made a chocolate raspberry whipped coffee!
What is chocolate raspberry whipped coffee?
Unlike regular whipped coffee, this chocolate raspberry version doesn’t use instant coffee and isn’t placed over milk. Instead, this flavored version uses whipped cream and raspberries to make a fluffy whipped topping for over fresh brewed coffee. It’s almost a reverse whipped coffee!
The fun thing is that once you master this raspberry whipped coffee, you can do easily do other flavors. Strawberry, blueberry or blackberry whipped coffee would be delicious!
Raspberry whipped coffee ingredients
To make this diy coffee drink you will need:
- Heavy cream
- Frozen raspberries
- Coffee
- Raspberry syrup
- Chocolate sauce
Heavy cream – The heavy cream is what you use to make the fluffy topping for this coffee. You can also use cool whip here but I don’t suggest using something like Reddiwhip.
Raspberries – You can use fresh or frozen raspberries here.
Coffee – You are going to want a nice mild coffee for this recipe. I suggest a light roast, but use whatever you have on hand. Here is a great guide on the types of coffee to choose from. You can also use instant coffee or a shot of espresso.
Raspberry syrup – The raspberry syrup is added to the coffee to sweeten it and give it a nice fruity flavor. I suggest a syrup like Torani raspberry or you can attempt to make your own.
Chocolate syrup – The chocolate is added to the coffee and is used as a topping. I love homemade chocolate sauce in my coffee, but Hershey’s works just as good!
