Chicken tenderloins – You can buy chicken tenderloin at the store or you can buy chicken breast and slice them into strips. I find that buying the chicken breast is cheaper but the tenderloin saves on time.
Bread crumbs – You have a few options when it comes to bread crumbs. You can buy plain ones, seasoned ones like Italian flavored or a gluten free variety. I like the Aleia brand gluten free bread crumbs. Or you can try to make your own bread crumbs!
Flour – You can use any kind of flour you would like for these tenders. Plain, whole wheat or gluten free work great here.
Milk – Use any type of milk you prefer here. If you want to make it dairy-free, I suggest an unsweetened almond milk.
Spices – To make these baked chicken tenders I used salt, pepper, onion powder and paprika. Together these spices give the tenders a nice subtle flavor that everyone enjoys. Feel free to change the spices to your tastes.
