<p>Prepare a fruity, flavorful cocktail in minutes with this Cranberry Orange Mimosa recipe. You won’t need to go to the bar when you can create this adult-friendly alcoholic beverage at home with just a few ingredients. Let me show you how to make this easy holiday inspire drink!</p>

<p>Fun fact &#8211; I love creating drinks for my friends and family. It&#8217;s fun to make a big batch of punch or sangria for others. This cranberry orange mimosa is one of my get together creations and it&#8217;s soooo good! </p>

<p>If you want something light, refreshing, and full of great flavor, this Cranberry Orange Mimosa recipe is for you. Prepare this easy mimosa recipe in minutes, add ice to your glass if you would like, and get straight to sipping!</p>

<p>If you are looking for a non-alcholic party drink, try my <a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/sparkling-cranberry-punch/" data-wpel-link="internal">sparkling cranberry punch</a>! It&#8217;s perfect for the kiddos. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Is a Mimosa?</h2>

<p>Mimosa is an alcoholic beverage that typically consists of a citrus-y juice and sparkling wine. You can adjust the taste of a Mimosa by adding different ingredients to it. Mimosa often has cherries or fresh berries added as a garnish.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="819" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Easy-cranberry-orange-mimosa-1024x819.jpg" alt="Easy cranberry orange mimosa" class="wp-image-22661" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Easy-cranberry-orange-mimosa-1024x819.jpg 1024w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Easy-cranberry-orange-mimosa-300x240.jpg 300w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Easy-cranberry-orange-mimosa-768x614.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Easy-cranberry-orange-mimosa.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cranberry Orange Mimosa Ingredients</h2>

<p>Prepare the Cranberry Orange Mimosa with the following ingredients:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Sparkling wine </li><li>Orange juice</li><li>Cranberry juice</li><li>Fresh cranberries</li></ul>

<p><strong>Sparkling Wine.</strong> You will need sparkling wine to enhance the beverage and make it an adult-friendly option.</p>

<p><strong>Orange Juice. </strong>Pick the type of orange juice you would like to use when preparing this beverage.</p>

<p><strong>Cranberry Juice. </strong>Grab your favorite brand of cranberry juice to complete this simple drink recipe.</p>

<p><strong>Fresh Cranberries. </strong>Complete your mimosa with fresh cranberries as a garnish. You don&#8217;t many so save some from your <a href="https://rantsfrommycrazykitchen.com/instant-pot-cranberry-sauce/" data-wpel-link="external" target="_blank" rel="nofollow external noopener">homemade cranberry sauce </a>for this mimosa! </p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery aligncenter columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex"><ul class="blocks-gallery-grid"><li class="blocks-gallery-item"><figure><img decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange-819x1024.jpg" alt="" data-id="22664" data-full-url="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange.jpg" data-link="https://mommakesdinner.com/?attachment_id=22664" class="wp-image-22664" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange-240x300.jpg 240w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange-768x960.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure></li><li class="blocks-gallery-item"><figure><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange-mimosa-819x1024.jpg" alt="" data-id="22663" data-full-url="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange-mimosa.jpg" data-link="https://mommakesdinner.com/?attachment_id=22663" class="wp-image-22663" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange-mimosa-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange-mimosa-240x300.jpg 240w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange-mimosa-768x960.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/cran-orange-mimosa.jpg 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure></li></ul></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to Make a Fresh Cranberry Orange Mimosa For 1</h2>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Ingredients</h3>

<ul class="wp-block-list" id="block-9723dbea-d688-4b31-8cf9-07f2a7b55eeb"><li>1/2 cup sparkling wine (see notes)</li><li>1/4 cup orange juice</li><li>1 tablespoon pure cranberry juice</li><li>Fresh cranberries, to garnish</li></ul>

<p>Making a cranberry mimosa is quite simple. You can make this brunch drink by combining your wine, orange juice, and cranberry juice into a champagne flute. Place fresh cranberries on top as a garnish and enjoy!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to Make It For a Crowd</h2>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Ingredients</h3>

<ul class="wp-block-list" id="block-61bad449-843a-4a07-91b0-f1b753e3634f"><li>1 bottle (750 mL) sparkling wine</li><li>1 1/4 cups orange juice</li><li>1/4 cup pure cranberry juice</li><li>Fresh cranberries, for garnish</li></ul>

<p>You can make this a Christmas drink for family and friends when you want to have an alcoholic beverage available for the adults to enjoy. If you are making it for a crowd, use a full 1-liter bottle of sparkling wine, 1 ¼ cups orange juice, ¼ cup cranberry juice, and as many fresh cranberries as you want.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/pour-shot-of-cranberry-orange-mimosa-819x1024.jpg" alt="cranberry orange mimosa pour shot" class="wp-image-22662" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/pour-shot-of-cranberry-orange-mimosa-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/pour-shot-of-cranberry-orange-mimosa-240x300.jpg 240w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/pour-shot-of-cranberry-orange-mimosa-768x960.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/pour-shot-of-cranberry-orange-mimosa.jpg 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cranberry Orange Mimosa Recipe Notes</h2>

<p>This recipe can be prepared in as little as 5-minutes. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you are making your delicious cocktail:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>There are many kinds of sparkling wine. I often opt for Italian Prosecco in a mimosa because it’s more affordable than traditional French Champagne— but still just as delicious.</li><li>I recommend using freshly squeezed orange juice, although bottled will work as well.</li><li>It is important to use pure cranberry juice, not cranberry juice cocktail. Pure cranberry juice has a more tart, berry flavor while cranberry juice cocktail is very sweet and fruity.</li><li>Make sure to chill the sparkling wine, orange juice, and cranberry juice before making your cocktail. Mimosas should be served chilled, but not with ice.</li></ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Other Christmas Drinks to Try</h2>

<p>In addition to the Cranberry Orange Mimosa, there are several other Christmas drinks worth trying. You might want to have coconut eggnog with rum, mini punch bowls with vodka, and even homemade hard apple cider. Here are some of my other favorite drinks:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list"><li><strong><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/sparkling-cranberry-punch/" data-wpel-link="internal">Sparkling Cranberry Punch</a></strong></li><li><strong><a href="https://mommakesdinner.com/classic-irish-coffee/" data-wpel-link="internal">Classic Irish Coffee</a></strong></li><li><strong><a href="https://inspiredbycharm.com/mulled-wine/" data-wpel-link="external" target="_blank" rel="nofollow external noopener">Mulled Wine</a></strong></li><li><strong><a href="https://inspiredbycharm.com/slow-cooker-thanksgiving-sangria/" data-wpel-link="external" target="_blank" rel="nofollow external noopener">Slow Cooker Holiday Sangria</a></strong></li><li><strong><a href="https://aspiringwinos.com/cocktails/white-sangria-cocktail/" data-wpel-link="external" target="_blank" rel="nofollow external noopener">White Christmas Sangria Cocktail</a></strong></li><li><strong><a href="https://aspiringwinos.com/cocktails/naughty-elf-cocktail-santas-hat-martini-recipe/" data-wpel-link="external" target="_blank" rel="nofollow external noopener">Naughty Elf Cocktail</a></strong></li></ul>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Cranberry-orange-mimosa-recipe-819x1024.jpg" alt="how to make a festive cranberry orange mimosa" class="wp-image-22665" srcset="https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Cranberry-orange-mimosa-recipe-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Cranberry-orange-mimosa-recipe-240x300.jpg 240w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Cranberry-orange-mimosa-recipe-768x960.jpg 768w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Cranberry-orange-mimosa-recipe-735x919.jpg 735w, https://mommakesdinner.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Cranberry-orange-mimosa-recipe.jpg 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Can I Store a Mimosa For Later?</h2>

<p>I do not recommend making mimosa more than 15 minutes before serving as the sparkling wine will start to flatten (lose its bubbles) immediately once opened.</p>

<p>You can store your Cranberry Orange Mimosa for later. You might want to make it a few hours before an event or even the night before. If you are reserving a mimosa for later, pour the orange juice and cranberry juice into a beverage pitcher with a lid and put it in the fridge. Before you start serving drinks, add in the sparkling wine, and give the beverage a good stir.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Can I Use Any Wine?</h2>

<p>While you can use different brands and flavors of wine, you should always select a sparkling wine when preparing a mimosa. There are plenty of affordable sparkling wine options available!</p>
