My kids love chicken nuggets. We eat them at least once a week over here at the Grant house. Sometimes I like to jazz them up a bit, for the adults sake. I made these chicken Parmesan sliders the other night and they are our new favorite! The kids loved that they got homemade chicken nuggets, and mom and dad were happy too!
You start with the homemade chicken nuggets. Those are easy to make, they just take a bit of time to cook. So once you have those done you can start the rest of the slider.
While your chicken nuggets are over on the side cooling – take your buns and slap them on your buttered skillet. [Insert high school Kelley giggle here. hehe] I used Hawaiian King Sub Rolls and cut them in half. Perfect for sliders.
Put your homemade chicken nugget on the bottom bun and then layer it with a slice of cheese and some pasta sauce. I used Provolone, but any cheese will work. I left my top buns on the griddle a little longer so they would melt the cheese. Mmmmm.. melted cheese. Mmm.. sliders.
Arent they just the cutest thing ever? So mini and melty and downright delicious. They are the perfect little burger for the perfect little homemade chicken nugget. Perfect.
And I made sweet potato fries to do with my perfect little sliders. And guess what? They went perfectly! Win!
