Looking for menu inspiration for the week? We’ve got you covered!
Hi friend! Guess what?! We survived the first week of school! Did you?? I’m not going to lie, the first couple of days were rough. For the kids and myself. We had just gotten back from Michigan and were forced to wake up extra early and go to school allll day. (The kids, nit me.) Avery of course couldn’t find his shoes most mornings and had a couple of meltdowns before we were even in the car. That’s par for the course with him though, so no real change there.
Side note – is it a boy thing that they can’t find their shoes? Like ever? Avery can put his shoes at the end of his bed and still not be able to find them when he wakes up the next day. We have tried everything and he still has a hard time with his shoes. And let’s not even talk about having to put socks AND shoes on. Most of his shoes are slip ons because it would take HOURS for him to find his socks and shoes.
Ryley on the other hand is up and ready to go. She knows where her shoes are and can even find matching socks by herself. Her only issue in the morning is that we have to brush her hair. Her hair is super long and curly so it takes awhile to brush it out every day. If she could run out the door with bedhead every day, she would.
Other then our shoe-less wonder and miss crazy hair, we are doing good. I HATE waking up early but it’s getting easier each day. I just drink a lot more coffee now. (Kidding.. not kidding.) Onto this weeks menu –
