Hey yall! Guess what we did this weekend? We moved! We have been planning this move for a few months now and were finally able to pack up and head out. With only about half of our things. Ryon’s company paid for movers as part of his relocation and they were suppose to come this past week. Turns out they meant they were coming THIS week. So we packed up some essentials and moved into our new house.
Fingers and toes crossed that the movers show up this week and we can get the remainder of our house. Like our washer and dryer. And couches. We only brought up what we could fit into Ryon’s truck and my Tahoe. Which between the two cars we were able to fit – a queen bed, a twin bed, our dining room table and chairs plus a few boxes of kitchen things, bath things and clothes. It has been interesting this past week.
I’ll be sharing some moving tips that have helped save our sanity and a few more details on the move. (Like how many layers of wallpaper were in the dining room!) But for now, here is our menu:
Main dish – Mango shrimp tacos
Main dish – Chicken enchiladas with red sauce
Main dish – Chimichurri chicken fajitas
Main dish – Club croissants
Side- Snap pea and green bean salad
Appetizer or snack – Slow cooker sriracha teriyaki wings
Dessert – Key lime slab pie
Breakfast – Strawberry cream cheese coffee cake
