Looking for weekly menu inspiration? We’ve got you covered!
Hey yall! Two things – we are officially moved in to our new place. And two – it’s so hot!! Of course when I say we are “moved in” I mean we have boxes all over the place that we need to put away. Ryon’s company paid for movers and we moved into the house a week before our boxes made it. We have been eating off paper plates for a week now.
We have also had Ryon’s parents and grandparents down with us for the past week. (They are very understanding of the paper plate situation.) Having them down has been a HUGE blessing. Ryon’s dad and grandpa both work in construction and love doing projects, even when they are on vacation. I knew they would be looking for things to do when they got down here so I had a small list for them to tackle. Of course they have taken care of said list and done so much more.
Like help us strip 3 layers of wall paper off the dining room walls, sand them down, and paint them a very pretty sea foam color. (Swoooon.) What I had thought would be a two day job turned into a week long ordeal. From watching and helping I have a whole list of wall paper removal tips on the way.
Oh and it’s hot too. We went to the zoo one day and only did about half of the park because everyone was so exhausted. Even sitting at the beach, in the water, it was hot. Pregnancy might make me a little bit more dramatic about the heat then normal.
