I’ve seen recipes for hash brown casseroles and they all use those shredded hash browns. Im not a giant fan of them for some reason but I like the idea of having an all in one breakfast. So I made my own recipe this morning using the hash brown patties. 🙂 (I liked it so much I ate it for lunch..shhhh)
Ingredients:
Hash brown patties
Bisquick
Eggs
Sausage
Milk
Cheese
Onions and Peppers (or any other veggies)
Preheat the oven to 450. Lay the patties on the bottom on a pan and put them in the oven while mixing the rest of the ingredients.
Mix the Bisquick according the box (I used the instructions for making pancakes)
Brown the peppers, onions and sausage. Add them to the Bisquick mix.
Pour mixture over the hash browns and top with cheese.
Lower the temp to 350 and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brownish.
To quote Yo Gabba Gabba “Theres a party in my tummy.. so yummy so yummy.” Ha! But it was pretty good.. for breakfast and for lunch. Not something Ill make every week because it did take longer then I expected to make.. but defiantly one Ill add to my list of breakfast foodies. What did you have for breakfast this morning?

Where do the milk and eggs come in? And how much of each ingredient did you use?

They are for the Bisquick mix. I used the amount suggested to make the pancake batter.
