For this recipe you’ll need:
- 2 c vanilla bean ice cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 c milk
- 1-2 c ice
- ¼ c strawberry jam
Vanilla bean ice cream – You can use whatever brand of ice cream you prefer. You can also try your hand at homemade ice cream if you are looking for a fun project to do with the kids.
Vanilla extract – Helps to give this frappuccino and nice, mellow flavor. You can try homemade vanilla extract on this one too.
Milk – You can use any milk that you prefer.
Strawberry jam – You can use homemade strawberry jam or get a jar of store bought jam.
How to Make a Copycat Strawberries and Cream Frappuccino
Step 1: Preparation
The first thing you’ll need to do is get out everything you need: your ingredients and your blender.
Step 2: Blend the Ingredients
Place vanilla bean ice cream, vanilla extract, milk, and ice into the blender. Blend the ingredients until smooth.
Step 3: Assemble the Frappuccino
Place a dollop of the jam on the bottom of a glass or cup (whatever you’re drinking out of). Add ½ of the ice cream mixture that you just blended on top of the jam. Add another dollop of jam, and top with the other half of the mixture.
Step 4: Enjoy!
Swirl the jam and ice cream mixture with a spoon. You can add whipped cream to the top if you would like. Enjoy!
