Looking for dinner ideas? We’ve got you covered!
Hi yall! HAPPY EASTER! I hope everyone had a great day filled with fun and family! We had a beautiful service in the morning, watched the Good Dino (a gift from the Easter bunny) and hunted for eggs. Well, the kids hunted for eggs. I just charged them a candy tax every time they opened one. Ahh the joys of being the parent.
We also did a gender reveal thing-y with the kids. Because we are expecting again! Woohoo! I am 22 weeks with our third blessing. I am beyond excited slash so very nervous. I haven’t done this newborn thing in awhile! But I am older and wiser now so it should be ok. RIGHT?! haha! More details to come but I just couldn’t keep it in any longer. We are having another baby! (Still seems crazy to say!)
Some menu ideas for the week are:
Monday – Roasted veggie nachos // I need a healthy dinner to start the week after all the Easter candy we have been snacking on. These nachos fit the bill perfectly.
Tuesday – Chicken and wild rice soup // It’s still cool enough here that we are able to enjoy a tasty bowl of soup!
Wednesday – Garlic cream chicken calzone // I am drooling just thinking about eating this for dinner!
Thursday – Super simple mac and cheese // There is nothing better then homemade mac and cheese! This version is full of chorizo and chicken! mmmmm.
Friday – Shrimp and Parmesan sub sandwiches // I just love this combo of seafood meets Italian!
Dessert – One bowl chocolate fudge brownies // ONE BOWL?! Yup, I’m in!
Snack – French onion dip // I’m a sucker for anything French onion. Aren’t you??
Breakfast – Bakery style blueberry muffins // Make a big batch of these and have them as grab and go breakfasts in the morning! Or a quick snack. Easy peasy!
