I am a huge fan of sweets, but my favorite are the ones that combine sweet and salty together. Sweet is good, but sweet with a hint of salt is the best. This easy homemade recipe combines both and let me tell you – its SO good! And maybe the best part about this salted toffee bark is that you only need 3 ingredients. Now that’s my kind of sweet treat!
To make this salted toffee bark you will need:
- Chocolate bark
- Saltine crackers
- Toffee bits [I used Heath bits]
Melt the chocolate bark in a double boiler or the microwave until smooth. While the chocolate is melting spread out the saltines onto a cookie sheet. Cover the saltines with melted chocolate. Carefully spread the chocolate over the saltines and add the toffee bits on top. Its best to put the toffee bits on the chocolate before its cools so it sticks. Allow to cool and harden and break into pieces.
The cool thing about this bark is that when you break it into pieces it almost comes apart in perfect squares because of the saltines. Oh and that it is delicious. Like ruin your diet delicious. I made a huge batch of this salted toffee bark and after one bite knew I was in trouble. I was thankful that we had a church bake sale the next day so I could send some off to be sold. Not that I wanted to get rid of it, I would have eaten the whole tray. And that was the real problem.
This would also be a great easy homemade gift for friends and family this holiday season. If you are looking for something easy to make and package then this would be the sweet treat for you. Just be sure to make enough to keep some for yourself!

I just made this with graham crackers. The only bad thing about it is that I eat and eat and eat until it’s almost gone.
