It’s been awhile since I shared a What I’m Loving post. These are my favorite posts too! But sometimes life happens and you aren’t able to blog one Saturday like you intended. Which happens often in the Grant house! Either way, here is what I’m loving this week!
That the kids are playing with their toys quietly this morning! [Can I get an amen?!]
That I made homemade bread this week!
And then turned it into homemade French toast! [Holla!]
Oh and that I made homemade banana bread too. [Give me all the carbs!]
That we had game night this week at my friends house. [And just FYI – owning all the railroads and both utility companies don’t guarantee you will win. Or even come close.]
That I took both kids to get ice cream [froyo] alone and they were so good!
That we spent one whole day in bed and in our jammies. [Its good for the soul.]
That everyone seems to be enjoying my natural living series. [Woohoo!]
That I finally found mint seeds to plant and have fresh mint!
That my husband supports me and my blogging!
That I’m really starting to like Google+. Weird, right?
That my momma was off yesterday and we got to shop and go to lunch while the kids were at school. [And that GAP has 50% off their clearance!]
That I’ve kept up with my laundry all week and only have one load to do this weekend.
That I’m excited about laundry. ha!
That I got a little kitchen compost bin from World Market and we are going to build a bigger one soon!
That I’m excited about compost. ha!
That its almost time to start thinking about my spring garden. And by almost time I mean asap because we have no winter down here.
I think thats about it for this week. What are you loving this week?

Your kids are looking so big, and cute as always! Just wanted to give you a heads up on the mint- perhaps you already know this… Mint sends out runners and spreads… incredibly invasive. I put one little plant in a small spot in my “garden” just outside my front door about 8 years ago. It is now everywhere… as in there are plants on the other side of my condo. It chokes out pretty much everything else in the small plot next to our sidewalk, even though I periodically have tried to eradicate it. If I were to do it again I’d put that little plant in a pot with a terra cotta saucer underneath to keep it all nice and contained. It is nice to have fresh mint readily available though, and the bees love it!

Thanks Karen! How is little Miss Zoe doing? And big brother? I check your blog periodically for updates on them. ๐ And thank you for the tip on the mint! Mine will live in a container on my windowsill. Hopefully I don’t have to worry about it too much? Hope yall are doing well!
