Gingerbread cake pop recipe

Ingredients

– 1/3 cup Butter – ¼ cup Dark brown sugar – 3 Tbsp. Granulated sugar – 1 Large egg – 1/3 cup Molasses – ¼ cup Buttermilk – ½ tsp Rum extract – ½ tsp Baking soda – 1 tsp Ground cinnamon – 1 tsp Ground ginger – ¼ tsp Ground nutmeg – A pinch of salt – 1 cup All-purpose flour – ½ cup Water – ¼ cup Cream cheese frosting – 2 cups White candy melts – 1 tsp Coconut oil

Instructions to help make the best gingerbread cake pops.

Cream the butter and the sugars together.

Add in the egg, molasses and buttermilk and mix well.

Mix in the extract, spices, water and flour.

Pour the batter into an 8 inch prepared cake pan.

Bake for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Crumble the cooled cake and add 1/4 of the cream cheese frosting. Use hands to mix together.

Roll about a tablespoon of dough between your hands to form a ball.

Melt the white candy melts and coconut oil.

Dip the cake pops in the chocolate and add the sprinkles. Stick in box to allow the chocolate to drip down.

Allow the chocolate to harden and enjoy!
