Hey Celine! I have not.. I live in South Texas so I don’t worry about pipes freezing down here! haha! But it is a valid concern. I wish I had an answer for you.

Doesn’t the coconut oil solidify in the pipes in the winter or with cold water? I has always heard that saturated fatty acids shouldn’t be sent down a plumbing system as they can cause blockages and burst pipes. Just curious if you has looked into it.

No, no problems over here. But that is a good point! I use so little of the body wash (a little goes a long way!) that I haven’t worried about it. Very good point though!

I was just wondering if letting all that coconut oil go down your drain would eventually clog it. It is an oil that solidifies when cold. When oil pulling, they tell you to spit it out in the garbage so as not to clog your drains. Have you heard of any problems with this? Thanks.

Maybe the coconut oil stops it from soaping up as well then? I haven’t tried it with a bubbly soap so I’m not sure. I apologize! I love Gnarly whale products. Ok thank u for letting me know. I used the same thing that u used. Nxt time I make it I may use something different. I did add some dawn to it after I noticed it wouldnt get soapy but it still wont soap up so Im not real sure what to use. Do u have any suggestions? Me & my son both have sensitive skin also so its so hard to find soaps that we can use. I found one brand called bungalow bath n body soaps but the girls is no longer making them from what it says online. Thats what usually happens I find one I really like then they quit selling it. Again thank u.
