Just wanted to give you a heads up on the mint- perhaps you already know this… Mint sends out runners and spreads… incredibly invasive. I put one little plant in a small spot in my “garden” just outside my front door about 8 years ago. It is now everywhere… as in there are plants on the other side of my condo. It chokes out pretty much everything else in the small plot next to our sidewalk, even though I periodically have tried to eradicate it. If I were to do it again I’d put that little plant in a pot with a terra cotta saucer underneath to keep it all nice and contained. It is nice to have fresh mint readily available though, and the bees love it!
